Musiqq

Musiqq is a Latvian music duo founded in 2009 and formed by Marats Ogļezņevs and Emīls Balceris .

Career

Musiqq celebrated its first successes with pieces such as “Klimata kontrole”, “Abracadabra” and “Dzimšanas diena”. On February 23, 2011, the duo prevailed in the national Latvian preliminary decision, Eirodziesma 2011, with the English-language song Angel In Disguise (text and music: Marats Ogļezņevs ) and represented Latvia as the successor to the singer Aisha at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf .

On May 12, 2011, the duo interpreted the title in the second ESC semi-final in Düsseldorf, but could not qualify for the final round.
