Carousel is a Latvian indie pop - band .

history

Founded in 2015 by the singer Sabine Žuga and the guitarist Maris Vasilievsky, the band first became known to the public in 2018 when they took part in the Pasaka ziemā concert .

In 2019 she took part in the Latvian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 . After successfully qualifying for the finals of the Supernova 2019 , she won the final. The band represented Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv , Israel with their self-written song That Night . She was eliminated in the second semifinals.
