Borów ( German Markt Bohrau ) is a village and seat of the municipality of the same name in Poland . It is located 15 kilometers east of the Ślęża (Zobten) and belongs to the powiat Strzeliński , Lower Silesian Voivodeship .
history
Borów was first mentioned in 1202 as Boriow . The market town at the confluence of the Mała Ślęza in the Ślęza belonged to the Strehlen district from 1818 to 1945 . In 1939 there were 909 inhabitants.
