Boris Galtschew (born October 31, 1983 in Blagoevgrad ) is a Bulgarian football player . He has been playing for Septemwri Sofia in A Grupa since January 2017 .

Career

Galtschew began his career at his hometown club Pirin Blagoevgrad , where he was brought into the first team in 2005. In the first season, place 14 was reached. After a year in the second division, Pirin finished eighth in 2007/08. In 2008/09 the cup final was reached, and Galtschew was tenth with the team. After another spring season with his home club, the central midfielder moved to CSKA Sofia in January 2010 , where they were runner-up in the end.

In the following season he made his debut at European club level. In the 3rd round of the Europa League qualification against the representative from Northern Ireland Cliftonville FC on July 27, 2010 Galtschew received the yellow card and played until the 86th minute. With CSKA he won the Bulgarian Cup in 2011. In summer 2012 he left the club and joined Dinamo Bucharest . However, he was unable to assert himself there and returned to Botew Plovdiv in Bulgaria in January 2013 . With the promoted team, he finished the 2012/13 season in fourth place and qualified for the Europa League . There he was eliminated with his team in the third qualifying round against VfB Stuttgart . In early 2014, CSKA signed Sofia Galtschew for the second time. He ended the 2013/14 season with his new club as runner-up behind Ludogorez Razgrad .

At the end of the 2014/15 season , ZSKA's license was revoked. Galtschew went with his club in the B Grupa and managed both the promotion and cup victory in the 2015/16 season. In the middle of the 2016/17 season he left CSKA and moved to B Grupa at Septemwri Sofia . There he made the second first division promotion in a row.
