Danny is a teenager who loves driving fast. While taking part in an illegal street race with his boss's car, he collided with a police car. His mother then sent Danny to his father in the country. The rapprochement between father and son, who have not seen each other in years, takes time, but is made easier by the passion of both men for fast cars. In addition to these problems, Danny also has to win a place within the local “race youth”. From day one he collides with Jake Kendall, the previous king of racers in the small town. He lets himself be challenged to a road race that he loses because of his not so technically equipped car. With the support of his father and the many friends he has made over time, they tune his Subaru Impreza WRX STI so that it is fit for the upcoming local road races, the "NHRA High Scools Drags". Only with difficulty does he win the preliminary races and compete in the main race against his main rival Jake Kendall. In a duel, gripped by excessive ambition, Kendall oversteers his sports car and crashes. On the spur of the moment, Danny stops his drive and saves the enemy from the burning car. With this sporty gesture, he not only wins the trophy, but also the respect of his opponents.

Reviews

The lexicon of international films judged: "Action film tailored to a young audience that presents a familiar topic in an entertaining way."

Kino.de writes: “Not only Vin Diesel and Paul Waker are '2 fast, 2 furious'. The second fictional film by Alex Ranarivelo is almost furious, taking the ostentatious delights of street racing away from the streets of Los Angeles to the dusty small-town streets of California in a squeaky clean and extremely entertainingly told teenage film. Alex Cross ('Milk') and the former child star Spencer Breslin ('The Kid') are the stars of the turbo-fast action film in which the kids know exactly what they are doing. "
