Matt McCoy (born May 20, 1958 in Austin , Texas ) is an American actor .

Life

McCoy is best known to the general public as a guest actor in numerous television films and series , such as Spaceship Enterprise: The Next Century , The Nanny or CSI: NY . He began his career in the early 1980s with various television appearances.

McCoy first made his way to the big screen in the late 1980s when he took on the role of Nick Lassard , with whom he succeeded Steve Guttenberg in the Police Academy film series.
