Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is an American television series . With leading actor Matthew Perry, who became famous in the television series Friends , the show started in 2006 with high expectations. Due to steadily falling audience numbers, the series was frozen in February 2007. However, since a contract with TV3 from Ireland had to be fulfilled for the full first season, the first season was brought to an end in early summer 2007.
The series focuses on a fictional live comedy show produced by Matt Albie and Danny Tripp.
