Bosio Sforza

Bosio I. Sforza (* 1411 ; † 1476 ) was the youngest of the three illegitimate sons of Muzio Attendolo Sforza .

His two older brothers were Francesco I Sforza , Duke of Milan since 1450 , and Alessandro Sforza , Lord of Pesaro since 1445 . He himself was Count of Santa Fiora , Count of Cotignola , Signore of Castell'Arquato .

Bosio married Cecilia Aldobrandeschi , Countess of Santa Fiora († 1451), daughter of Guido Aldobrandeschi , Count of Santa Fiora , in 1439 . In his second marriage in 1464 he married Griselde von Capua, the daughter of Matteo Acquaviva, Duke of Atri .

Bosio Sforza is the ancestor of the Counts of Santa Fiora, the Marchese of Proceno , the Dukes of Segni and Onano (later Sforza-Cesarini as Dukes of Segni).
