Geographical location

The place is about 50 km southeast of Bologna and about 20 km west of Ravenna . Cotignola borders the following municipalities: Bagnacavallo , Bagnara di Romagna , Faenza , Lugo and Solarolo . The districts of Barbiano, Budrio and San Severo belong to Cotignola.
