geography
The municipality of Bouéni is located at the southwestern end of the main island Mayottes and forms a peninsula between the Bay of Bouéni and the Bay of Mzouazia. In addition to the main town Bouéni, the villages Moinatrindri, Hagnoundrou, Bambo Ouest, Mzouazia and Mbouanatsa make up the municipality.
