The Bouron is a river in France that runs in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the municipal area of Montaigut under the name Ruisseau de la Prade , then changes it to Ruisseau de Bellaigues, finally drains as Bouron in a generally westerly direction through the Combraille landscape and flows after 21 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Marcillat-en-Combraille and Saint- Marcel-en-Marcillat as the left tributary in the tartasse . On its way, the Bouron crosses the Puy-de-Dôme and Allier departments .
