The Bowman Peninsula is an icy, about 40 km long and about 24 km wide peninsula between the Orville coast of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland and the Lassiter coast in the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It separates the Nantucket Inlet in the north from the Gardner Inlet to the south and ends in the south with Cape Adam .

It was discovered during the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947-1948). Its director Finn Ronne named the peninsula after the geographer Isaiah Bowman (1878-1950), president of Johns Hopkins University from 1935 to 1948.
