The building

The house at Brückenstraße 7 is a listed commercial building in Pleinfeld , a market town in the Weissenburg-Gunzenhausen district in Central Franconia . The building is registered under the monument number D-5-77-161-8 as an architectural monument in the Bavarian monument list. The building served as the Mautner's house in Eichstätt , who raised the road toll for crossing the Nepomuk Bridge .

The building is located at the confluence of Zollgasse and Brückenstraße, right next to the Nepomuk Bridge, at a height of 374 meters above sea ​​level in the oldest settlement center in Pleinfeld. The building is a two-story, massive gable roof and was built in 1702. The former barn behind it (Zollgasse 2a), a single-storey saddle roof building from the late 18th century with sandstone masonry and half-timbered gables, belongs to the property . A cast iron plate with the building inscription is attached to the building.
