Bradley Alan Miller (born April 12, 1976 in Fort Wayne , Indiana ) is a retired American basketball player who played in the NBA . Miller was nominated twice for the NBA All-Star Game .
College career
From 1994 to 1998 Miller attended Purdue University in West Lafayette , Indiana .
National Basketball Association
Due to the lockout in 1998 Miller began his professional career, after he had not been selected in the draft of the highest endowed US professional league National Basketball Association , at the Italian club Bini Viaggi Livorno, for which he played three months. Previously, he was appointed to the squad of the US national team for the 1998 Basketball World Cup , with which he was able to win the bronze medal. After the lockout ended, the Charlotte Hornets signed him as a free agent . After two years with the Hornets, Miller again moved to the Chicago Bulls as a free agent. In January 2002 Miller was caught in a fight with Shaquille O'Neal .
In February 2002, Miller was traded with Ron Mercer, Ron Artest and Kevin Ollie in exchange for Jalen Rose, Travis Best, Norman Richardson and a second-round draft pick to the Indiana Pacers. In his first full season with the Pacers, he was appointed to the All-Star Team for the first time in 2003.
During the 2003 offseason, Miller moved to the Sacramento Kings and was called up again for the NBA All-Star Game in his first season. He had his first and only double-double season in 2003-04 with 14.1 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. With the Kings he reached the play-offs between 2004 and 2006.
On February 18, 2009, Miller and John Salmons moved to the Chicago Bulls in exchange with Drew Gooden , Andrés Nocioni and Cedric Simmons.
With the Houston Rockets he spent the 2010/2011 season, then he was transferred to the Minnesota Timberwolves in June 2011 as part of a trade . After the 2011/2012 season, Miller was transferred to the New Orleans Hornets in exchange for a second-round draft pick. His contract was considered tradeware in the NBA, as he was about to end his career. However, he no longer played for the Hornets and ended his career in 2012.
