Brahian Alemán , full name Brahian Milton Alemán Athaydes , (born December 23, 1989 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.78 meter tall midfielder Alemán has been part of the squad of the Uruguayan first division club Defensor Sporting at least since the Apertura 2010 . With the Montevideans he played 14 games in the Primera División in the 2010/11 season and scored two goals. In the 2011/12 season, Alemán's 26 more top division games followed. He scored six goals. In addition, there are two games (no goal) of the Copa Sudamericana 2010 and six games (one goal) of the Copa Libertadores with his participation. In mid-2012 he moved to Unión de Santa Fe in Argentina . In the 2012/13 season he came there to 31 missions (two goals) in the Primera División . He also played once in the Copa Argentina . After the relegation of his club, he played 37 Primera B Nacional games in the 2013/14 season and scored six times in the opposing goal. At the beginning of August 2014 he moved to the first division Arsenal de Sarandí on loan with a purchase option and was used there 19 times (nine goals) in the top Argentinian league until the beginning of February 2015. Since then he has also played on loan for Barcelona SC . He played 37 games (ten goals) in Primera A and six games (three goals) in the 2015 Copa Libertadores for the Ecuadorians . On January 10, 2016, the Ecuadorian association LDU Quito announced Alemán's commitment. There he joined the team trained by Claudio Borghi . For the club, he played 34 league games (four goals) and six games (no goal) in the 2016 Copa Libertadores . In January 2017, Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata signed him . So far (as of July 15, 2017) he has played for the Argentinians in 16 league games (two goals), two games (no goal) of the Copa Sudamericana 2017 and one cup encounter (no goal).
