Branden Albert (* 4. November 1984 in Rochester , New York ) is a former American American Footballer in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins as an offensive tackle . He was a total of times in the two Pro Bowl appointed

Career

college

Since Albert's academic achievements left much to be desired, he initially had problems finding a college at all. After another year of military school classes, his grades improved so much that he received a scholarship from the University of Virginia . He played for their team, the Cavaliers, college football and was used in 37 consecutive games as a starter on the offensive line , mostly in the position of the guard .

NFL

Kansas City Chiefs

In the NFL Draft 2008 he was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 1st round as a total of 15th player and converted to the left tackle. He was able to establish himself in the team immediately and, with his blocks, played a major role in the Chiefs' good running game, which was tailored to Jamaal Charles . In 2013 he was first appointed to the Pro Bowl .

Miami Dolphins
