Brandon Davis (born August 30, 1995 in Redlands , California ) is an American snowboarder . He starts in the freestyle disciplines.

Career

Davis has participated in the Ticket to Ride World Snowboard Tour competitions since 2009 and in the FIS competitions since 2012 . He won his first victories at national competitions in the So Cal Series in the 2009/10 season. At the beginning of the 2011/12 season, he won the US Revolution Tour in Northstar-at-Tahoe in slopestyle . In the further course of the season he took second place on the halfpipe at The Burton Pro-Test in Northstar-at-Tahoe and in slopestyle at the US Revolution Tour on Mount Snow . At the Snowboard Junior World Championships 2012 in Sierra Nevada , he won the bronze medal in slopestyle. He finished the season in 16th place overall on the World Snowboard Tour. The following season he won the US Revolution Tour in Northstar-at-Tahoe and took third place in the halfpipe competition in Sun Valley . In January 2013, he made his debut in the Snowboard World Cup in Copper Mountain and achieved 92nd place in slopestyle. At the Winter X Games 2014 in Aspen , he came 11th in Slopestyle. In February 2014 he won slopestyle at the US Revolution Tour in Mammoth . In the 2014/15 season he achieved his first podium finish in the World Cup with third place in the Big Air competition at the FIS World Cup in Istanbul . In January 2016 he won the US Snowboarding Grand Prix and FIS World Cup races in Mammoth in the slopestyle competition. At the 2016 Snowboard World Championships in Yabuli , he finished 11th in Big Air and won the gold medal in Slopestyle. At the end of the season, he finished sixth in the Freestyle World Cup and second in the Slopestyle World Cup. In the 2016/17 season he came 11th in slopestyle at the Winter X Games 2017 in Aspen and 14th place in slopestyle at the 2017 X-Games Norway in Hafjell . In March 2017 he won twice in slopestyle at the Pamporovo Freestyle Open and at the same time European Cup in Pamporovo and came second in the slopestyle at the spring battle in Flachauwinkl .
