In 2020 its trend continued upwards. He won his second future title, otherwise mostly played Challengers, where he was able to reach a semi-finals again in March. He made his first appearance on the ATP Tour in February when he received a wildcard for the tournament in Delray Beach . There he surprised the competition by beating two top 100 players in two sets with Jiří Veselý and Cameron Norrie . In the quarterfinals he was defeated by Yoshihito Nishioka in three sets. Shortly after the corona-related break, he reached his career high of 218th place.
