Career
society
Subašić began club football in 1997 in the youth of FK Železnik and started his professional football career here in 1998. Here he played until the summer of 2002, where he spent the last half season as a loan player at FK Sremčica .
In the summer of 2002 he moved abroad and signed with the Belgian association KV Ostend . After playing half a season for Ostend, he moved to the French club AS Beauvais .
In the summer of 2003 he was hired by the Ukrainian club Chornomorez Odessa and played here for the next one and a half seasons. In the summer of 2005 he moved to the Azerbaijani club Neftçi Baku . At this club he managed to jump into the regular formation right away. He took on Azerbaijani citizenship while working for this club and from then on also played for the Azerbaijani national team .
In the summer of 2008 he left Neftçi and then went to FK Red Star Belgrade . After playing one season here, he spent the 2009/10 season at the Chinese club Changchun Yatai .
In 2010 he returned to Azerbaijan and played for FK Qəb derlə , FK Xəzər Lənkəran and FK Qarabağ Ağdam in succession until the summer of 2013 .
In the summer of 2013 he moved to the Turkish TFF 1st Lig for relegated Orduspor . Since he is an Azerbaijani citizen, he will play here under a special status and will therefore not occupy a regular foreigner place.
For the 2014/15 season he moved within the TFF 1st Lig to Manisaspor . A year later he joined OFK Belgrade and ended his active career there in 2017.
National team
