Ship identification BP 21

The Bredstedt (identification: BP 21) was a coast guard ship of the type P 60 of the federal police operating from Warnemünde . The ship had the callsign DLGZ and the IMO no. 8986896. The Bredstedt was a single ship and was decommissioned in November 2018. It is advertised for scrapping via the Vebeg .

The ship had two so-called Rigid Raider inflatables . The helicopter platform was used for landing light helicopters ; however, no helicopter was constantly carried.

For the two ships stationed in Warnemünde, Bredstedt and Eschwege , there were a total of eight teams of 14 officers each in order to ensure uninterrupted use of the two ships.

On November 15, 2018, the Bredstedt left Warnemünde for a final patrol. The destination was Neustadt in Holstein , where it is moored until it is sold to a scrapping yard .
