Wider than 2 bouncers entered the German album charts at number 1 . In the second week, the publication dropped to 24th. After three weeks, the album left the charts. In Switzerland, Breiter was also number 3 in the album charts as 2 bouncers . Majoe's second album was also able to position itself successfully in the Austrian charts with rank 2.

criticism

The e-zine Laut.de rated broader than 2 bouncers with two out of a possible five points. From the point of view of the editor Laura Sprenger, the album “still leaves the musty smell of a profit-oriented, predominantly dispassionate product.” The “varied and thoroughly audible instrumentalization” that forces Majoe “to vary” his presentation is positively emphasized. However, in the songs Mr. Majoe and Fresh , for example, he sounds "either like hyperventilating Kay One or snappy-arrogant Shindy ." In the piece Hip Hop Majoe delivers "an ironic, more or less amusing view" together with Farid Bang and KC Rebell the music genre. Christian Weins from MZEE rates the plate very negatively.
