Philippe Bühler (born November 29, 1981 in Friedrichshafen ) is a German pop singer and songwriter . He uses his mother's maiden name as a pseudonym and calls himself Philippe Heithier .

Career

Bühler became known nationwide at the end of 2003 through his participation in the second season of the talent show Deutschland sucht den Superstar , in which he achieved third place.

After leaving the company in February 2004, Bühler initially withdrew and only appeared in public as part of smaller PR campaigns. In the meantime, in collaboration with music producers such as Hamm & Bertoni, Ghostwriter Entertainment, Marek Pompetzki , Schallbau, Oja Tunes, an album of their own was created, which should have been released in spring 2006. At this point, Bühler left his record company Sony BMG and switched to the independent label Luckysong. The pre-singles Why and I can love you reached number 22 and 42 in the German single charts . The completed album It is as it is was never released for financial reasons.

In 2007 Bühler got to know Bushido , with whom he recorded the song Truth for his album 7 . The album sold more than 200,000 times and brought Bühler a platinum and gold record . At the same time he wrote the album for the group Bisou , which was released on Bushido's label ersguterjunge .

In 2007, Bühler continued to work with Jan Hammer and Terrance Quaites . The result was a new edition of the title Crockett's Theme by Jan Hammer, in which Philippe sang the refrain on the R'n'B remix . In the same year Philippe also sang the title Quite just over for the German soundtrack of Disney's Himmel und Huhn . In 2008 he wrote two songs for Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht , which were also on the album Mission Blue . In the same year, two titles were created for the film Freche Mädchen , interpreted by Wilson Gonzalez Ochsenknecht .

In May 2010 the album was Kenneth home alone by Kay One out on the Buhler Kay One at a total of four tracks supported. He also founded his own recording studio in Stuttgart . In 2011, Bühler wrote and produced for the Stuttgart DJ and fashion designer Sascha Gerecht (DJ Godfather No. 1, Rockstars & Angels). In 2012, Bühler worked again with Kay One and produced the song Finale we're coming for him .

From 2015 to 2018 he was the vocal coach for the candidates at Deutschland sucht den Superstar . Philippe Bühler wrote the songs of Pietro Lombardi Nur ein Tanz , which was published on February 15, 2019, and It hurts again , which was published on February 8, 2020.

He lives in Stuttgart with his son and girlfriend and works in Cologne .
