Brendan Christian

Brendan Christian ( Brendan Kyle Akeem Christian; born December 11, 1983 in Saint John’s ) is a sprinter from Antigua and Barbuda .

At the World Junior Athletics Championships in Kingston in 2002 , he won silver over 200 m .

In 2004 he reached the quarter-finals at the Olympic Games in Athens over the same distance.

At the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in 2006 he was eliminated over 200 m in the semifinals and came with the quartet from Antigua and Barbuda on fifth place in the 4 x 100 meter relay .

In 2007 he won the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro over 200 m and won bronze over 100 m . At the World Athletics Championships in Osaka , he reached the semi-finals over 100 m and 200 m.

In 2008 he was eliminated at the indoor athletics championships in Valencia over 60 m and at the Olympic Games in Beijing in the semifinals. He also reached the semi-finals over 200 m at the 2009 World Cup in Berlin and the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
