Brendan McDowell (born March 12, 1992 in Sydney ) is an Australian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Mustangs IHC in the Australian Ice Hockey League since 2012 .

Career

Brendan McDowell began his career as an ice hockey player with Mustangs IHC in Melbourne , for whom he still plays in the Australian Ice Hockey League . In 2013 he also played for the Melbourne Red Wings , of which he was captain, in the Australian Junior Ice Hockey League. In 2014 he won the Goodall Cup , the Australian championship, with the Mustangs . In the 2016 season he also came to some assignments at the Braves Ice Hockey Club in the lower-class Ice Hockey Victoria Premier League.

International

For Australia , McDowell took part in the junior division of the U18 World Cup in Division II 2010 and that of the U20 World Cup in 2011 in Division II on the ice.

In the men's field, he was in his country's squad at the World Championships in Division II in 2014 and 2015 .
