Brenderup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Vends Herred in what was then Odense Amt , then to Ejby Kommune in Fyns Amt , which was merged into the "new" Middelfart municipality in the Syddanmark region as part of the local government reform on January 1, 2007 .
2215 inhabitants live in the parish, 1386 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Brenderup Kirke” is located in the parish.
Neighboring communities are Asperup Sogn in the west, Nørre Aaby Sogn in the south-west, Fjelsted Sogn in the south and Harndrup Sogn in the south-east , and Hårslev Sogn and Ore Sogn in the north- east neighboring Nordfyns municipality .
