Sankt Nicolai Kirke

Middelfart Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in the town of Middelfart on the banks of the Snævringen in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Vends Herred in what was then Odense Amt , then to Middelfart Municipality in Fyns Amt , which was merged into the "new" Middelfart Municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

Of the 15,922 in the city of Middelfart, 13,138 live in the parish of the same name (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Sankt Nicolai Kirke", also known as "Middelfart Kirke".

Neighboring communities are Vejlby Sogn in the northeast and Kauslunde Sogn in the southeast .
