Fjelsted Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Vends Herred in what was then Odense Amt , then to Ejby Kommune in Fyns Amt , which was merged into the "new" Middelfart municipality in the Syddanmark region as part of the local government reform on January 1, 2007 .

707 inhabitants live in the parish, 300 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Fjelsted Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are in the north Harndrup Sogn and Brenderup Sogn , in the west Indslev Sogn and Ejby Sogn , in the southwest Gelsted Sogn , further in the south neighboring Assens municipality Rørup Sogn and in the east Hårslev Sogn in the Nordfyns municipality .
