Broddetorp is a place in the Swedish municipality of Falköping about 20 kilometers north of the city of Falköping . It is located in the province of Västra Götalands län and the historical province (landskap) Västergötland .
history
Broddetorp was built at a railway stop of the same name, which was here between 1874 and 1962. Broddetorp Church is a neoclassical stone church from 1821. After the completion of the new church, the medieval church was demolished. In the medieval church there was a 12th century antemensale , which is now owned by the State Historical Museum .
Three kilometers west of Broddetorp is the Hornborgasjön bird lake , four kilometers south of Broddetorp is the prehistoric burial ground Ekornavallen and the passage grave of Rössberga .
