Bruno Berlet
Friend Bruno Berlet (born June 2, 1825 in Sieglitz ; † November 30, 1892 in Annaberg ) was a German teacher and travel writer in the Ore Mountains .
Life
Berlet was born as the youngest son of pastor August Friedrich Berlet and his wife Christine Wilhelmine Ebhardt. In 1851 he married Luise Hogrefe, a daughter of the ducal domain tenant and councilor Friedrich Hogrefe in Bubainen . The two sons Erich (1860–1936) and Alban (* 1862, † in Brazil ) were born from this marriage.
Bruno Berlet was the rector of the Royal High School in Annaberg . In 1872 he wrote the guide through the Saxon-Bohemian Ore Mountains, which appeared in 12 editions until 1911 and became known nationwide as Berlet, Ore Mountains . In addition to his work as a teacher, he also devoted himself to researching the life and work of Adam Ries .
