Bruno Czarnowski (born April 15, 1902 in Graudenz , West Prussia , † unknown, after 1938 ) was a German politician (NSDAP).

Live and act

Bruno Czarnowski attended elementary school. In the autumn of 1918 he joined the 21st Infantry Regiment. Until 1921 he participated in the border protection in Silesia, fought in the Baltic States and took part in the Kapp Putsch in Berlin. In addition, Czarnowski belonged temporarily to the Freikorps Rossbach . For this Czarnowski was awarded the Baltic Cross and the Silesian Eagle . After Upper Silesia was incorporated into the newly founded Polish state, Czarnowski was expelled. After his return to civil life, he worked as a laboratory assistant, building inspector and building authority manager in Halle an der Saale .

In 1925 Czarnowski joined the NSDAP (membership number 36,486). In 1926 he became SA leader in Upper Silesia. From 1929 he built up the SS in Halle-Merseburg (SS No. 1.296). He temporarily lived in Aschersleben . From 1929 to 1933 Czarnowski was a city councilor in Halle and at the same time leader of the faction of his party in this body. As the deputy head of the Gau propaganda, he also appeared as a public speaker. In 1933 he received the rank of city council in Halle.

After he was not elected in the Reichstag election on November 12, 1933, he was - who was also the holder of the golden party badge - from 1936 to 1945 a member of the Reichstag for constituency 11 (Merseburg).
