Bruno Six

Bruno Six (born August 14, 1906 in Regensburg , † December 8, 1984 in Bonn ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Six had worked as a journalist for the magazine Junge Front / Michael since 1936 . After the Second World War he worked as an editor at the Kölnische Rundschau .

In 1945 Six joined the CDU and was mainly involved in youth work . From 1946 to 1948 he was state chairman of the Junge Union Rheinland , of which he was a co-founder. After the founding of the Federal Association of the Junge Union in 1947, he became its first chairman. He held this office until 1948. For the CDU, Six was a member of the Zone Advisory Council for the British Zone from 1946 to 1948 and a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament from 1946 to 1962 .

At the same time, he was political advisor in the Federal Chancellery from 1952 to 1954 and head of department in the Federal Government's Press and Information Office from 1954 to 1966 .

After his time as a consultant in the Federal Ministry of Finance (1966–1970), Six worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Local Science of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (1971–1978).
