Bruno von Reden (born July 13, 1870 in Hastenbeck ; † May 7, 1962 there ) was a German officer, landowner and parliamentarian .
Life
He came from the noble family Reden and was the son of the manor Ferdinand von Reden auf Hastenbeck. He matriculated for natural sciences at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen . From Easter 1891 to Michaelis 1892 he was active in the Corps Saxonia Göttingen . As an inactive , he joined the Prussian Army . After military service with the Oldenburg Dragoon Regiment No. 19 , where he was appointed secondary lieutenant in 1894 , he worked at the Military Riding Institute in Hanover from 1900 to 1902 . He then did practical training in agriculture and then joined the Braunschweig Hussars . His last rank in the military was a lieutenant colonel . Most recently he was in the First World War regimental commander . After his departure, Reden managed the family entrepre- neurship in Hastenbeck, where he worked as a volunteer in numerous associations for many years.
As a politician he was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Hanover from 1921 to 1925 . Reden was a member of the first federal assembly in 1949 . In Hastenbeck he was a member of the local council. He was a member of the German party .
