Brynle Williams (* 9. January 1949 in Cilcain , Flintshire , † 31 March 2011 ) was a Welsh politician of the Conservative Party .

Life

Williams was a professional forth farmer , which refers to the breeding of cattle and sheep had specialized. A specialist in ponies and cobs, a small breed of British horse , he was a member of the council of the Welsh Pony and Cob Society. In 1997 he led the ranchers' protests against the import of beef in Holyhead . He achieved national fame in September 2000 when he organized the protest of farmers against the oil refinery of the Royal Dutch Shell in Stanlow in Ellesmere Port .

In 2003 he was first elected to the National Assembly for Wales as a candidate of the Conservative Party . He was a member of this until his death, where he was most recently the agricultural policy spokesman for the conservative faction .
