Buchberg is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Reinsberg in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 66 building areas with 24,237 m² and 9 gardens on 13,037 m² in the cadastral municipality Buchberg , in 1989/1990 there were 65 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 117 and in 2009/2010 there were 85 buildings on 130 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is shaped by forestry. 480 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 456 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 434 hectares and 491 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 429 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 485 hectares. Buchberg's average soil climate number is 16 (as of 2010).
