Nordshausen Castle

The castle Nordhausen is a Outbound castle at 220  m above sea level. NN in the Nordshausen district of Kassel in Hesse .

Almost nothing has come down to us from the former castle. Knappe writes that in 1317 a Henricus de Nordershusen was mentioned as consul of Kassel. It is possible that his family owned the small castle on the Mattenberg, which has long since disappeared .
