The remains of the dialed Spur castle lie on a spur at the northeast slope of Čertův kámen ( Felstone , 542 m) of the same directly on the rock floor of the valley of the Ludkovický brook . To the east rise the Baba (635 m), the Komonec (672 m) and the Brda (600 m) and south of the Oberský (483 m). Rýsov Castle was built between the second half of the 13th and first half of the 14th centuries according to archaeological finds. Your client is not known. According to various sources, Rýsov is said to have been the oldest of the three castles on the Komonetz ridge and was ruined by Matthäus Csák around 1360 . They assume that Světlov Castle, two and a half kilometers to the east, was built as a replacement for Rýsov. On the other hand, Rýsov is believed to be the southwestern part of a national defense line Rýsov - Světlov - Engelsberg .

The already desolate castle was first mentioned in writing in 1517, when Jitka von Landstein and her husband Joachim von Bieberstein sold the Světlov estate to Burian von Vlčnov.

Remains of ditches and walls around the rock have been preserved. The lack of wall remains suggests that the castle was built of wood. Overall, Rýsov has not yet been explored much.
