Burgos is a municipality in the Philippine province of Ilocos Norte . The northern coast of Burgos borders the South China Sea . Rice is mainly grown on the hilly land. Burgos also has a lighthouse built in 1892 . Today there is a café in the rustic building.
The community was named after the Filipino national hero Jose Burgos .
Burgos is divided into the following eleven barangays :
