Bacarra is a municipality in the Philippine province of Ilocos Norte . The community borders the South China Sea to the west . In Bacarra is the Church of San Andres Apostol , an old Spanish church. Right next to it is its old bell tower, which was partially destroyed in an earthquake in 1983. There are two large sandy beaches on the coast.
