The Postal Falkenstein is an Outbound hilltop castle on a 1050  m above sea level. NHN high rock outcrop (Falkenstein) above the so-called Kellerleitensteig on the southern slope of the Kramer near Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district in Bavaria .

A knight Swigger von Mindelberg is named as the owner of the castle complex mentioned in the 13th century, which was probably a wooden building. In the 19th century remains of stove tiles are said to have been found below the Falkenstein.
