Grafenaschau Castle

The Castle Grafenaschau in Grafenaschau , the capital of the municipality Schwaigen in Upper Bavarian district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen , was built on an older core 1909-12. The castle in the style of a country house is a protected architectural monument . It is described in the Bavarian Monument List as follows:

"Country house, two-storey double - gable building in alpine home style with onion dome , arbor and boarded gable fields, renewed and expanded by Emanuel von Seidl over the older core, 1909-12."
