The c55 is a sailing boat used in Sweden as a match race , regatta and training boat. The sailing boat type is a national unit class in Sweden .

The boat was designed by the Swedish sailor and Olympic medalist Pelle Petterson and is manufactured by Cremo Productions AB in Varberg . The c55 transmits a 7/8 rig with an aluminum - Mast . The headsail of the c55 is equipped with battens . The foredeck is open.

A special feature of the boat is the lifting keel with keel bomb , which makes it easy to trailer (transport) and very stable . The lifting keel is operated with a crank via a self-locking worm gear.
