Cafe Extrablatt is an all-day pub catering . The Cafe Extrablatt is primarily drink-oriented, although it also offers all-day dining in an American style. The core of the offer is made up of coffee specialties based on our own roasting and mixing recipes. It is rounded off by wines , spirits , cocktails and regional beers .
The cafes of the Cafe extrablatt chain are often the only dining establishments at their location that are open on Christmas Day and New Year's Day in the afternoon.
history
In 1988 the brothers Richard and Christoph Wefers founded their first Cafe Extrablatt in Emsdetten. They continued a long family tradition of gastronomy, albeit now as system catering. Soon afterwards, other extra-leaf cafes sprang up. A production kitchen for convenience food with its own development department was added. An administration and service company was founded and in 2001 a separate logistics center was created in Emsdetten.
In 2004 the company was awarded the Hamburg Prize of the magazine " food service " . The jury found the partnership concept worthy of the award. In 2006 a Cafe Extrablatt was opened in Marrakech . In 2006 the 50th Cafe Extrablatt opened in Unna . Cafes in Antalya , Cape Town and Enschede followed . In 2014 the 70th Cafe Extrablatt opened in Warendorf .
