The Cajamarca Warbler ( Basileuterus trifasciatus ) is a small songbird from the family of the Wood Warbler (Parulidae).

Cajamarca warblers reach a body length of 12 to 13 centimeters. The wing length is 5.4 to 5.9 centimeters in the male and 5.5 centimeters in the female. Adult Cajamarca warblers and young birds from the first year on have olive-green upper plumage and yellow lower plumage. The nominate form Basileuterus t. trifasciatus has a gray vertical stripe , black lateral stripes and a wide gray-white superciliar stripe that runs to the neck. The coat is grayish; the throat and breast plumage light gray. The subspecies Basileuterus t. nitidior differs from the nominate form in the yellow crown stripes that are often present in the splendid dress and the less intensely colored gray coat.

  • Basileuterus trifasciatus nitidior Chapman, 1924 - Northwest of Peru and Southwest of Ecuador (From El Oro to Loja )
