Camillo Filippo Ludovico Borghese (born July 19, 1775 in Rome , † May 9, 1832 in Florence ) was Prince of Sulmona and Rossano and Duke of Guastalla .

He belonged to the Roman dynasty Borghese , which originally came from Siena and was honored and fortified by Camillo Borghese, who became Pope as Paul V in 1605.

Camillo Filippo Ludovico Borghese entered French service in 1796 and married Napoleon I's second sister, Pauline Bonaparte , widow of the French general Charles Victoire Emmanuel Leclerc , in 1803 .

As a result of this marriage he received the dignity of a French prince in 1804, became chief d'escadron of the imperial guard in 1805 , soon afterwards colonel and later general de division and briefly reigning Duke of Guastalla , in 1808 governor general of Piedmont and in 1809 Commander in Chief of the 27th and 28th Military Divisions.

After Napoleon's fall, he separated from his wife, lived alternately in Florence and Rome from 1818 and died on May 9, 1832 in Florence without heirs.

His brother Francesco Borghese , Prince Aldobrandini (1776–1839) inherited him .

The possessions of the Borghese included the principalities of Rossano and Sulmona, the most beautiful villages and estates in the Patrimonio di San Pietro in Sabina and the eleventh part of the entire Campagna di Roma .
