action

A few years after the Second World War , Burger comes to San Gasparre to re-see some of the locations where he experienced several war adventures. The friendly priest of the village tells him about the partisan Tego, who blew up a bridge and then waited with his comrade Caronte on behalf of the resistance leader Moreno for a message from a woman, Marisa. The Germans tracked down those waiting; Don Vincenzo, the pastor at the time, tried to warn the fighters, but was arrested. On his forays into the area, Burger finds some people who portray Tego in a less heroic light.

criticism

“It's hard to find the right words to describe this mess. A story told as if in delirium; Dialogues suggesting medical treatment; immediately forgotten actors; two almost completely disjointed parts ... ”, says Davinotti.it.

Remarks

Some scenes from the film were reused in La bestia in calore by director Batzella from 1977 . This film consists of a combination of a black and white part with a colored part.
