Campo de Gibraltar is one of the six comarcas (dt .: region, district ) of the province of Cádiz in the autonomous community of Andalusia in the extreme south of Spain . It is named after the Rock of Gibraltar , which is visible from the entire comarca. Campo de Gibraltar is the southernmost area of ​​the Iberian Peninsula and mainland Europe , at its southern tip is the Punta de Tarifa . Like all comarcas of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, it was established with effect from March 28, 2003.
