Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Canadian Rocky Mountains .

Areas

Because of its geological and ecological value, the area was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1984 and expanded in 1990. It includes four national parks and three provincial parks in the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia . The area is 2,306,884  hectares .
