Candice King
Candice King (* 13. May 1987 in Houston , Texas as Candice Accola Rene ) is an American actress and musician .
Life
Candice Accola grew up in Edgewood, south of Orlando . Her father Kevin is a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon and her mother Carolyn is a homemaker and an active member of the local Republican party. She has a younger brother. She made her film debut in 2007 with the film Pirate Camp . She became known for the role of Caroline Forbes in the series Vampire Diaries . In 2008 Accola was the backing singer for Miley Cyrus ' Best of Both Worlds tour . On December 26, 2006, Candice had also released her own music album It's Always the Innocent Ones .
Candice Accola was in a relationship with fellow Vampire Diaries, Zach Roerig , until mid-2012 . On May 29, 2013, she announced via Twitter / Instagram that she is engaged to The Fray guitarist Joe King. King and Accola were married in New Orleans on October 18, 2014. Their daughter was born on January 15, 2016.
