Cantagalo is one of the seven districts of São Tomé and Príncipe and is located on the island of São Tomé .
geography
Cantagalo borders on Mé-Zóchi in the north and Caué in the east and has an area of 119 km². In 2012 there were 17,161 people in Cantagolo. The capital is Santana on the east coast of São Tomé with 7,798 inhabitants (2005).
