The Carbutaeloa is an East Timorese river in the administrative office of Bazartete ( municipality of Liquiçá ). Like most of the smaller rivers in north Timor , the Carbutaeloa falls dry outside of the rainy season.

The rivers Nunupupolo and Hatunapa have their source in the border area of ​​the Sucos Metagou and Fatumasi in the south and Maumeta in the north and cross Maumeta on their way to the north until they merge in the Suco Lauhata at Camalehou to form the Carbutaeloa. On the coast of Lauhata, the Carbutaeloa finally flows into the Sawu Sea at Pissu Lete .
